My academic background is in Kinesiology and Athletic Therapy. I graduated from York University in 2007 with an Honours Bachelor Degree in Science (Kinesiology and Health Science). I became certified as a Certified Athletic Therapist in 2008. I have also taken many courses in rehabilitation, training and First Aid and Rescue.
I am passionate about nutrition and designing training programs for myself and friends. I love to learn about training, healthy living and nutrition. Lately, I have become an eager student and advocate of personal development and achievement. I love reading books and listening to audio on personal achievement and success. My car is a University on wheels, so watch out if you want a ride with me, you may be enlightened 😉
My other hobbies and passions are extreme sports. I have been Kiteboarding for over 10 years now; it is by far my favourite sport. Other sports that I pursue are windsurfing, snowboarding and volleyball. I love to camp and travel. The outdoors is where I could spend most of my time. Sun, surf and sand, oh yea! One thing that I never get bored of is Martial Arts. I have a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and have recently been dabbling Muay Thai Kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and a bit of Wrestling. Sounds kind of like Mixed Martial Arts? Yes… it is the only sport I follow. I appreciate the movement needed to be able to be proficient in Martial Arts and is one of the reasons I enjoy doing it.
I love to help people achieve great things. My mission in life is to help educate people on a better way of living; this includes everything from physical health to spiritual health. I am a passionate student of life, and I love to share everything that I learn. I don’t keep any secrets to myself.
